2017 has been a fantastic year here at Loud Crowd. We’ve gotten up to some amazing things and met some terrific people and can’t wait to get stuck into 2018 and do it all again!
Over the last 12 months, we’ve been along to some fantastic events around South Yorkshire and had a great time. We got to sponsor Darren house of Double2 Motorsport. As well as getting to go along to Oulton Park to watch him race. Had a beautiful cow pie at the sponsors’ dinner while watching Doncaster Knights play Rotherham Titans at Castle Park, home of Doncaster Knights Rugby Club.
This summer we went along to Lakeside. Getting some drone and video footage of the annual Dragon Boat Challenge to help raise funds for local charities. We also spent the day backstage at Doncasters 10th annual Pride event getting footage of all the amazing acts. Then it was on to T-fest, Tickhills own festival again to get some footage of the days’ activities. It was an absolutely fantastic day plus we got to meet 5ive, Bez and Alfie Sheard.
Dave has spent a lot of time this year presenting to and helping new business’ grow at Doncaster Chamber. Putting us in the running for business start-up of the year at the Doncaster business awards. Unfortunately, we didn’t win this time but there’s always next year!
We were fortunate enough to be invited along to Googles Agency Day down at their headquarters in London. Coming away with a treasure trove of knowledge to put into practice. We also learnt about new and upcoming technologies in the web development world. Our web developer Nathan even got invited back down to do some advanced training on PWA’s (progressive web apps) and how to create one.
This winter has been just as busy and gave us even more opportunities to get involved with the local community. We went along to Luminate, the lantern parade in Bawtry to celebrate the Mayflower 400 and got some great footage. We got to check out the winter wonderland display at the yearly unveiling of the Womacks Christmas window display in Bawtry. Most recently Dave went over to Sheffield for the Christmas market. Spending time getting some video footage of Greg Shipman, performing street magic in Sheffield city centre.
We have thoroughly enjoyed 2017 and are looking forward to a bigger and better 2018. This year Nathan has been working closely with full stack developer Peter Day. Creating a brand new amazing content management system (CMS) called Cole. Watch this space as several new sites will be rolling out over the coming months showcasing this absolutely brilliant new system.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all the people we have had the pleasure of working with this year. As well as a big welcome to our new clients S2S & Doncaster Knights. We look forward to continuing to work with our existing clients and new ones in the future.
So for our last post for this year we would like to say to everyone
